The Challenge of Challenge Coins

In the military, a challenge coin is not only a collectable, it is also a matter of individual and unit pride.  A Veteran group came to Mark to inquire about getting challenge coins made for their Motorcycle Club's 2025 Leadership meeting.  The coin they had made previously was a zinc coin in the shape of a guitar pick.  They asked if High Fidelity could have the coins made... of course we told them we would be delighted to help.

There were a few challenges ahead... one, the coin had the seals of the 5 branches (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Air Force) but because the year was 2024, there was a new branch that needed to be represented (much to the chagrin of current Veterans... LOL).  Space Force needed to be added.  There was also a desire to have the coins numbered for collector's sake.

We worked hard with the company that makes our coins to come up with solutions to those desired outcomes and were able to deliver a finished coin that was on budget, with the updated new seal and with a color-fill background that was absolutely stunning.  The individually numbers coins were made from 000-300 and one special coin with the club's number struck into it.  The "000" coin isn't in circulation because it sits on Mark's desk with all of the other challenge coins he collected over his military career.
